Memorial Day 2014

Happy Memorial Day!
I just want to thank all of the service men and women who sacrificed their life for our freedom and happiness. I am so proud to live in this country and to be related to such heroes. <3
Land of the Free, because of the Brave

I feel so blessed that I got to celebrate this holiday with my family and friends. We had an amazing day at a friends house with good food and great people. Harper had an absolute blast swimming, jumping on their trampoline, and hanging with her BFF. I just love it when older kids are so sweet to little babes, and this sweet girl M was so nice to her and pretty much watched her the whole time. It was so nice because Mommy got to kick back and enjoy some cold ones and adult conversation, win! Daddy also took the day off so he could come hang with us and it was perfect. I hope you all had a great long weekend!!

Ready to party!!
She couldn't wait to get in the pool!

This girl was addicted to the pool and I was a nervous wreck the whole time :0

My two babes!
How amazing is this yard?! Girlfriend was in heaven with all of these kids and activities!

And my favorite pic of the day. I just love how she's watching her new bestie! I cannot thank this sweet girl enough for being so nice and attentive to my baby. Also, check out those ringlets! Her hair was sooo curly when she got out of the pool. How can I get them like that everyday!? So dang cute!!
xoxoxoxoxoxo
When I took her swimsuit off I barely got this little one piece outfit on her but I am so glad she at least got to wear it for a few hours because its so adorable!!!
Just putting my feet in Momma.
Don't worry, all the drinks were gone ;)
Those curls!!!!!!

Weekend & Mother's Day!!

Well last week was a blogging fail again because of my busy week. (I know, every ones busy but sheesh, I need more hours in the day.) So once again I will just flood you with iPhone pics from the week!!
Thank you school for a tiring day ;) She couldn't even finish her fruit bar!
My silly girl!
Wednesday Target shopping with Daddy always ends up in the toy aisle.

Daddy, I want this one! :)
I just love watching her sleep. My precious babe!
{Ruffle Leggings}
Off to school again! The teachers are probably very annoyed of all the headbands and bows, hehe. She has to be accessorized though, ;)
I am obsessed with these Mommy & mini necklace tees! I sent Cady a picture of my statement necklace from Foi Clothing  and then she made it into a tee for Harps. Genius!!! Check them out now at Enjoy Essential
Leaping, lol!

{Sweatpants} {Headwrap} {Sandals (similar)}
How perfect is this tee for a toddler?!? Seriously, I died! This fits my little drama queen so perfectly and of course its from Enjoy Essential! Amazing!! Nick said I needed this shirt for myself, I told him to shut it ;)
New sprinkler pool was a hit!

I hope all you Mommas had a wonderful Mother's Day!!
Nick's birthday was yesterday as well so we kinda had to share our day but that's OK, because if it wasn't for him I wouldn't be a Mom so I tried to spoil him more because he's always spoiling me! We just had a relaxing family day of lunch at our favorite restaurant with Harper and free mimosas for us. Then we dropped H off with the g-parents who treated us to dinner and drinks at our other favorite place, Kona. We were under a tornado watch the whole day but while we were at dinner it started getting super dark and the clouds were going crazy. We made it home just in time because not even thirty minutes later the sirens were going off and all of our phones were blowing up with tornado warning alerts. It was pretty scary for a moment but thankfully it passed us and it was just dark, windy, and rainy. We relaxed the rest of the night with our bug and watched our favorite show, Game of Thrones and ate chips and chocolate covered strawberries! ;)

The only pic we got together all day.

Thank you miss Harper for making me a Mommy. You are my greatest gift and blessing and I can't imagine my life without you. You have made me a better person and you fill my life with so much joy. You are my everything and I am beyond grateful to be your Mommy! xoxoxo

Easter 2014

Happy (belated) Easter!!!
We had a very relaxing low key Easter this year. So low key that we didn't even get out of pajamas. :/ Yup, total church fail and we feel terrible but the last few years at our church it has been an absolute mess trying to go to mass on Easter Sunday. I could rant about that for days but I won't bore you with those stories. H started her day by finding her basket that the Easter bunny left. She was super excited and for her little treats. Her basket was also pretty low key compared to last years craziness but she was perfectly happy with her Minnie mouse pen, Cinderella bracelet, some candy, and crazy straws. Lets not forget about her new moccs from the Freshly Picked bunny but more on those tomorrow. After finding all her goodies she took out all the grass but did not like it on her feet so she had a little freak out and fell running with the grass stuck to her feet. Oops, she was fine ;)

Grandpa also got her a water table for Easter so we went outside and played with that pretty much all day and it was perfect! Daddy had to work so we were missing him and waiting for him to get home all day. That water table is the most amazing toy ever!!! Gosh what did we do without one?? I literally had to peel her away from it after a few hours so she could go take a nap. (She was not happy. I know mean Mommy...) They (the g-parents) got it at Costco and I can't find it anywhere online but there are so many similar here and here. We were already out there today for awhile so I know we will basically be living outside by that thing all summer. Its perfectly placed under the deck so we are shaded but luckily this one does come with an umbrella so I am already planning on laying out this summer while H plays! Win win!!

After Harps took a much needed nap we colored some Easter eggs! It was H's first time so we weren't sure how it would go but it was so much fun. She loved dipping all the eggs in the colors and taking them in and out of the cups 500 times but it was so fun to watch. I think her hands were just as dyed as the eggs but it was so worth the mess! She was actually so mad when all the eggs were colored that she took one and chucked it across the kitchen. It was one of those "can't stop laughing but really shouldn't be laughing" moments. Haaaa. Yup, she's almost two!! She than arranged the eggs in the cartoon a few dozen times and we finally went back outside and enjoyed the rest of the beautiful evening with Daddy. It was a great Easter and I hope everyone else had a wonderful day!!
