My {Business} Style

Guess what guys?! I am in REAL clothes! I know, I can't believe it either ;)

Just kidding. I really do wear other things then just yoga pants and hoodies. Especially when I am going to meetings to meet with new clients. I really try to wear something a little nicer but also casual  because I am representation of my business of course so I have to look professional but still normal! My go to look is a trendy top with my fave jeans and my hunters for winter. This hat has also been my go to lately because its just so easy to throw on and it makes it feel a little more put together. I usually just throw a few waves in my hair and I am on my way! This literally took me 15 minutes to get ready and out the door and that is perfecto for me! 

I am loving this wrap peplum top from Eshakti (and on sale!)! If you are not familiar with Eshakti, they are an online women's store and they specialize in customizing your pieces! I think this is so amazing because you can get perfectly fit clothes online! Genius right!?

Trendy Littles Tuesday// Momma + Mini and the Freshly Picked Carryall

It's no secret that I have a complete obsession with Freshly Picked moccs and now that they have a product for Moms, the Carryall, my obsession is just out of this world. Kind of like this bag! :) 

I have been googley eyed over the carryall since it came out a few months ago and my sweet Dad surprised me with it for a very early birthday present and moccs for Harps. 

It is even better in person guys. So much better!

It's pretty much the perfect size to carry well everything! I can fit my wallet, cosmetic bag, notebook, diapers, wipes, 4 pairs of sunglasses, random Harper goodies, my laptop, and my camera all at the same time. I love how its so versatile to use as my "diaper" bag, purse, and work bag.

It's so buttery soft and I absolutely love the smell of it. 100% genuine leather baby ;)

It has the perfect little key holder that is so handy because the most annoying thing is losing your keys at the bottom of your bag. Genius!

Of course the cutest black and white FP lining just makes the inside even better. Oh and gold hardware :) :) :)

Their are two open compartments that I keep all my sunglasses in (yeah all four) and one big zipped pouch that I like to keep pens, headphones, and snacks in. 

Of course one of the best parts is that Harps and I can subtly match, which of course I love love love. I was a little nervous at first about the neon green but it surprisingly really goes with just about everything and I especially love it paired with the birch color. I think this combo will transition great through every season. 

It fits great under all of our stroller baskets, big and small so its easy to take everywhere even though its a little bit bigger of a bag. I do wish the straps were a touch shorter because sometimes I feel like its a little long but other than that I wouldn't change a thing.

She's like mom, what are you doing.... hahah. Harps, I'm not sure ;)

Seriously, if you are thinking about getting this bag, just do it! I feel like its totally worth the money especially if you have kids and will use it as a purse and diaper bag combo. It feels a luxurious so it doesn't scream LOOK AT ME AND ALL THESE DIAPERS AND BOOGIE WIPES, like some diaper bags literally scream at the top of their lungs to me, haha, yuck. I'm all about style and function and this bag is IT!! 

Game Day Wear {Husker Football Style}

Gooo Biggg Reddd! Go Big Red! 

Eeek. Babes, its almost that time again, college football season!!! Woo. I swear I am not trying to rush the summer season but the Huskers have their first game in less than a month so of course I am planning everything in red, black, and white at the moment. Around our neck of the woods Husker football is everything! We live and breathe our Skers' because we don't really have any other sports teams so its a big deal. The whole state is decked out in red every game day and there is just something in the air that is so awesome and exciting when football season comes around. Of course I'm always on the hunt for adorable Husker gear especially for Harps because we have to teach her young about our beloved football team, right?! I love putting together these game day style posts for the whole family and I hope this will inspire some stylish wear coming this fall... ;)

Spring Dreaming

Spring... Where art thou??

Today you made an appearance and Harps and I soaked in all of your warmth and sun shining skies. It was a nice change from the bitter cold of winter and I hope you stick around.. sigh. But I heard snow in the forecast this week so boo on you... Instead of being grumpy about more chilly days ahead, I will browse and shop for springtime outfits for me and the babe. It will warm my hear ;) I am dreaming of you spring!!

Who is over wearing leggings and sweats everyday??? ME!! OK, not really really (because I love my comfy clothes), but I am just so excited for the weather to warm enough to wear my warm comfies like maxi dresses and skirts. I am a sucker for a good flowy maxi. You can dress them up or dress them super casual and I love that versatility. Of course I am always buying myself neutral pieces because I really don't buy myself a lot of clothes (I mean come on, everything is way cuter on an adorable toddler anyways) so when I do I like it to be an item I can wear with many things, in many ways. FYI those famous gold glitter flats from Target from last spring are back (online only) so get them while you can. They will definitely be worn daily around here. And I found a matching pair for mini's on Pinterest! #winning Scooping those up asap. For Harps I love buying her more colorful printed items especially these amazing floral prints I am drooling over! Um, Hello V-neck tee for toddlers! Oh my gah. Adorbs!!! OK, I am done drooling over spring clothes; for now ;)

Can't wait to get back to these kind of days!!

P.S.- I am no "designer" or whatever you want to call it but I have been feeling so creative lately so I took my creativity to photoshop and totally loved making this fun pretty picture. Shopping Is My Cardio

Another new obsession... (I know I am annoying, two in one week... sorry). But really, I am so in love with my new sweatshirt from one of my best friends new online Instagram boutique Foi Clothing. I can already tell this will be my newest go to because I can wear it at home in my pjs (it is super comfy) or dress it up with jeans and boots and go shopping!! La la love it! She has so many cute items from tops, maxi skirts, scarves, statement necklaces, headband turbans, and more!! She also has the best fleece lined leggings. If you do not own a pair, you are missing out on life! They are life changing! LOL. They are warm and cozy and thick so you don't have to worry about your booty showing through (very big concern of mine HA). 

We went outside for a couple minutes today to get out because our cabin fever is extremely high at the moment. Please leave Mr. Winter!!!  So I had my hunny (thanks babe) take some pictures of Harper and I and of course the best sweatshirt ever!! I mean, this is seriously MY motto, life statement, etc. ;) I also realized chasing a toddler 24/7 is also a great form of cardio... I am exhausted.

My 23rd Birthday // Weekend Recap

My Birthday Weekend Was A Success!!!!!

On Friday I turned 23 and it was one of the best ones yet.

Lets get to it.

Friday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME, I'M 23. ;)

Of course it started off with a little trip to Starbucks where I actually got something new and ordered a salter caramel mocha which was amazing and headed to the nail salon to get a pedicure.

I then went home to pick up my babes and go on a little Target run. Leave it to me to wait till the last minute to go get an outfit to wear that night but I was eyeing THIS 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target Dress but they didn't have it in my size. Boo. We still got some random stuff and we headed home to put miss fancy down for a nap. 

Crown
Could you just die of the cuteness of this Juicy Couture tracksuit!!! I'm pretty much obsessed and she will be wearing this at least once a week. I have an obsession with my JC tracksuits and wear them frequently so my life is pretty much complete with her owning her very own!!

While boo bear napped Momma got to go on a little shopping trip to find a birthday outfit all by herself. I scored a dress for $19 a necklace for $13 and THIS BCBG wristlet for $12. Winning!!!

After all that shopping it was time for my birthday dinner with some close friends at new super cool new restaurant in town. If you live in Omaha, you have to check out Salt 88. The had the best drinks! And at the end of dinner you get cotton candy!! I mean, how could you not love that!!

First. my boyfriend really needs a class on iPhone photography because HE SUCKS!! All I wanted was a pic of me and my cute cotton candy, and this is what I got.. Second, it was grape flavored and delicious!

We had a great night out after that! We went downtown to some fun bars and met up with more friends and drank way too much and somehow ended up in the tattoo shop setting up an appointment and giving them a down payment.. ughhh. Spontaneity at its best perhaps?? Whatever, it was fun, and momma had a ridiculous bad hangover the next day and I am so thankful that Nick took the next day off because he took care of Harper all day while I laid on the couch and couldn't move... ayy. Bad.

Saturday

Terrible effing day of a hangover.... never. drinking. again.

I eventually felt better and I had a photo shoot that night so I had to put my big girl professional pants on and get the eff over it. I also had my highly anticipated tattoo appointment that night at 10 p.m. so we put Harper to bed and headed back downtown only to be turned away while filling out my info card because I'm still a nursing momma and they told me it was state law that I couldn't get it done... I'm not gonna lie, I was super disappointed but I will just have to wait until Harps has officially weaned which is in the process but I will have to write another post on that.

To add to the annoyance of driving 20 minutes downtown, we had a terrible night of sleeplessness for all of us, so we were miserable...

This babe fell on the driveway face first on Friday and got her first real boo boo, a bruised and scratched nose and forehead. :(

Sunday

We capped off the weekend with a little shopping trip. Pretty much our usual Sunday.

Laziness, shopping, eating, FUN. Love Sunday's. The only thing that would make it better is if Daddy was off but the next three weeks he is off all weekend long so were super excited!!

I'm already planning, pumpkin patch, apple orchard, shopping, fun, and more fun!
