Trendy Littles Tuesday// Momma + Mini and the Freshly Picked Carryall

It's no secret that I have a complete obsession with Freshly Picked moccs and now that they have a product for Moms, the Carryall, my obsession is just out of this world. Kind of like this bag! :) 

I have been googley eyed over the carryall since it came out a few months ago and my sweet Dad surprised me with it for a very early birthday present and moccs for Harps. 

It is even better in person guys. So much better!

It's pretty much the perfect size to carry well everything! I can fit my wallet, cosmetic bag, notebook, diapers, wipes, 4 pairs of sunglasses, random Harper goodies, my laptop, and my camera all at the same time. I love how its so versatile to use as my "diaper" bag, purse, and work bag.

It's so buttery soft and I absolutely love the smell of it. 100% genuine leather baby ;)

It has the perfect little key holder that is so handy because the most annoying thing is losing your keys at the bottom of your bag. Genius!

Of course the cutest black and white FP lining just makes the inside even better. Oh and gold hardware :) :) :)

Their are two open compartments that I keep all my sunglasses in (yeah all four) and one big zipped pouch that I like to keep pens, headphones, and snacks in. 

Of course one of the best parts is that Harps and I can subtly match, which of course I love love love. I was a little nervous at first about the neon green but it surprisingly really goes with just about everything and I especially love it paired with the birch color. I think this combo will transition great through every season. 

It fits great under all of our stroller baskets, big and small so its easy to take everywhere even though its a little bit bigger of a bag. I do wish the straps were a touch shorter because sometimes I feel like its a little long but other than that I wouldn't change a thing.

She's like mom, what are you doing.... hahah. Harps, I'm not sure ;)

Seriously, if you are thinking about getting this bag, just do it! I feel like its totally worth the money especially if you have kids and will use it as a purse and diaper bag combo. It feels a luxurious so it doesn't scream LOOK AT ME AND ALL THESE DIAPERS AND BOOGIE WIPES, like some diaper bags literally scream at the top of their lungs to me, haha, yuck. I'm all about style and function and this bag is IT!! 

Five on Friday

Hello Friday! You rock!! Friday's just seem so chill to me for some reason. They are usually an errand play kind of day for us because Daddy is still home from his "weekend" and we have a family day of sorts. I haven't done a 5 on Friday post in awhile so lets jump on in ;)

ONE
We've been trying to have as much summer fun as possible! This summer has been extra fun because Harper finally gets to enjoy doing all fun things like going to the pool, snow cones, going to the park daily, and lots of outside time. We know that our warm sunny weather won't last forever so we really try to make the most of these few short months. I can't believe it is almost August already but we still have sooo much more in store for us!

TWO
NERD ALERT! I got new glasses, haha! OK, I have had glasses since I was 7 years old and I wear contacts 90% of the time but I finally got NEW glasses and I love them! My ones before had been destroyed by a certain little girl we all know (wink) and were literally being held together with tape that I would have to doctor up weekly. Not a good look. But, thanks to America's Best I could get two pairs of glasses for 62$! Amazing right?!? You do have to join the eye care club I think which is 100$  for free exams for 3 years which is another amazing deal, so amazing that my whole entire family has joined and we all have new glasses and contacts, woo hoo! Exciting stuff right?! hehe. Funny thing is my mom and I actually both picked out the exact same pairs, so were complete twins and its funny, and weird. LOL.

THREE
I finally joined the cool club and tried Jamberry Nails. If you haven't heard of them they are little nail sticker things that last a really long time. I've had this decorative one on for over a week now and they are still going strong. I do have to stay they are kind of annoying to put on but I guess the time it takes to paint and dry your nails completely would be about the same as applying these so I guess its worth it. FOUR
I'm pretty much smitten with my new Freshly Picked carryall and Harps matching moccs!! My Dad so generously bought these little amazing prezzies for us. Actually he originally ordered the butterscotch moccs and the matching bag but FP was having some issues so I picked this color instead and they also sent Harps this matching pair along with the pair my Dad had ordered for the problems. They really are the best company out there and we can not thank them enough!! This really is an exquisite bag and I am obsessed with it. Thanks Daddy!!

I recently shot some awesome new arrivals over at Foi and they are some amazing summer pieces! Tons of new rompers, dresses, flirty tops,  and they have the "Vogue" tees in a blush color which is so cute! Go check them out before they are gone!! :)

Weekend Recap

Friends!! Can you even believe it is the almost the end of July already? Oh my goodness, the year is FLYING by. Crazy! We had another wonderful weekend, this time a little busy than normal which means I am even busier at home doing stuff that needs to get done but it was so worth it! We ate lots of bad food, went to a gender reveal party where Harps played with tons of kids, we had a little play date all day with my friends son Traegan, and than we went to the Blue Angels air show and had one of the best Sunday funday's in awhile! I got soooo burnt at the air show because we were literally out in the sun for over 5 hours so I am hurting today but it was worth it. So. Much. Fun!

I was kind of obsessed with her in these ear protector things. I thought it was the cutest thing ever! And holy crap, was it loud... Eeek. It was actually kind of scary I even had to get some ear plugs, really cute right?! HA!

All I wanted was a pic of us with the planes flying by so everytime they came our way I would grab H and pose but my Mom totally failed on that job.. Wah.

Harper's Birthday + Freshly Picked Giveaway Winner!!

Thank you so much for all the birthday wishes for our little Harps!! 

We had the best day celebrating together as a family and spoiling our babe all day with lots of fun!! We decided to do just a fun day of treats and toys instead of doing a party this year and it was a much better, relaxed, fun day. I highly recommend it! ;) And now a flood of the fun!!!

First H had a special donut and chocolate milk breakfast before seeing her prezzies. We ended up getting her the Smart Trike and a baby doll and she was over the moon with both!

Then she went to school for a few hours to play with her friends and show them her new baby! ;)

Crown// Moccs// Dress

After school we made a quick stop to pick up her lunch of choice, cheese ritz crackers and milk... Alrighty then, its your birthday so whatever. After a little car lunch we headed to the kids salon for a pedi. I paint her toes all the time and she sits super well for me but I was nervous how she would do with someone else, and she did great! She picked a sparkly purple color and she loved the waters and the bubbles. It was sooo cute to see! Not pictured are the terrible nail painting that I took off as soon as we got home, yup, I was maaaad :/

Can you say DIVA?!?

Nap time was the next plan on the agenda and it was much needed for H and Mommy, hehe! After her nap she woke up super grumpy but we decided to still keep with the plan of going to our favorite restaurant Kona for happy hour (not like "bar" happy hour, more like half priced sushi rolls and other yummy favorites on the enclosed patio. And of course drinks, duh! Its an Omaha family thing I guess) but it was a disaster. She was mad the whole time, only wanted to get down and walk around and lots of screaming and crying. I finally just had them bring her a bowl of ice cream and a candle and I sang Happy Birthday and she ate her treat. Why didn't I do that at the beginning? Lesson learned and she was happy as a bird with french fries!

Once she was back to happy mode we headed to the mall to go make a furry friend at Build-a-Bear! We have never taken her there but once she saw it she was in heaven!!! She was so smiley and twirley and I think she touched every single thing in there. I thought she would just pick any ole bear or whatever but she was actually very selective with which one she wanted. She picked a princess palace pet kitty, and of course she's pink and pretty! The employees were so sweet and she had a great time building her kitty. We made it out with no outfits or accessories thankfully. Just the kitty. And then she insisted on carrying it out and back to the car and it was the cutest thing ever. I could not stop laughing because the box was almost as big as her but she was determined. LOL. 

Big diaper booty, haha. Hopefully these will be gone soon...

She stopped and said "pleeasse Mom." I think she was asking for our next great adventure, ear piercing! Yay!
