Summer Blog Gift Exchange

I am so excited to share our goodies we received from Chrissy and Elin over at Simple Joys Blog. 

We participated in a gift exchange of fun summer goodies for both kiddos and mommas. When we got our package from Chrissy it was sooo beautifully wrapped in the cutest box and tissue paper. I didn't want to open it because it was so pretty! Of course Harper tore right into and she oohed and ahhed at all the fun stuff they picked out for us. 

What was in our box:

Popsicle mold: Brillant. I have been on the search for some so I can't wait to make homemade popsicles!

Drink tumbler: I can never have enough of these. They are my fav! And, I totally needed a pink one ;)

Water Bottle: Coolest water bottle ever!! It's the perfect size for a little toddler and it has a freezable ice pack in it to keep the drink cold. Genius. I'm really loving that!

Swim Floaties: These will come in handy this summer!!!

Catch a Fish Game: I can't wait to play with these in Harps water table! She's going to love this!

Nail Polish: The sweetest pink summer color that I am in love with. Harper already had grandma paint her toes with it. Too cute!

Princess Chapstick: Yup, my girly girl loves her "lipstick" and momma loves them too! hehe.

Stickers: (not pictured because she had those all over everything within 5 minutes.) Sticker addict over here! LOL!

Thank you soooo soo much Chrissy and Elin!! We are over the moon with your summer picks for us and it totally brightened our summer with all of these goodies!! We really appreciate it and we're excited to have met another sweet Mommy daughter duo like you guys!! xoxoxoxo

Happy Father's Day 2014!

Happy Father's Day to my boo, baby daddy, and best guy ever, Nick!!!

I am so grateful god gave me you and the best dad to our sweet girl. You are our everything and we love you times infinity. 

And of course Happy Father's Day to my Dad, Step dad, Grandpa's, and brother in law! I have so many wonderful men in my life to be thankful for and are such amazing Daddy's. I (we) are blessed!

Since my amazing guy is hard to shop for, because he always says, I don't need anything. Well OK, but what do you want?! I don't want anything... UGH! I always try to just get him cute personalized gifts that are actually useful so this year he is got a custom notebook from Tiny Prints because he is starting a new school in August. Its the perfect size to carry around from his job to home in case he needs to study and because he takes online classes, he is working on the computer a lot. The perfect size for a small workspace. He will also be receiving lots of love and rockstars (his favorite drink) from his two biggest fans today! We will miss him whiles he's at work but we are so proud of him for how hard he works for us. He's the best!

Trendy Littles Tuesday// Gold, Gold, did I say Gold?

So of course as you know, I kinda have a gold obsession! Eeek! But really, who doesn't right now?! It's kinda weird for me to say because I use to despise gold. I hated gold jewelry. I thought it was cheap looking and just ew but what do you know... Ten years later its my absolute favorite color! Especially when it is super shiny and sparkly!!! Every little piece thing I can put on H that has a fleck of gold on it, I'm buying it. I just can't help myself :) Gold is pretty much taking over her closet and I couldn't be more excited. Here's some gold wear were loving lately.

I am loving this tee from Paper Doll Clothing. I kinda think it was made for my "little miss dress up" princess!  This tee is so comfy and washed and dryed so perfect. Harps might be wearing this a couple times a week; It's a goody!

And my new favorite bow headband from Baby Jules Boutique is just beyond perfect. I love how its so sparkly but its perfect for my active toddler because the blush band is super comfy!

And last but absolutely not least is Harps new gold Freshly Picked Moccs that I ordered from there half year sale. I could not pass this sale up because they truly are my favorite pair of shoes she's ever owned. We're still waiting on these babes but they should be here on Thursday and I can't wait!!

Weekend Recap

Once again, the weekend (that is entirely too short) was a super chill couple of days! Daddy had the weekend off again so we just took advantage of family time. We pretty much did nothing but hang out and eat ice cream sandwiches! It was Harps first time to enjoy this yummy treat and she loved it! Good thing we decided to enjoy it outside because it was a mess! I think there was more ice cream on the ground then she really ate but that's why we have dogs right?! Ha! We have a super busy week ahead and I can't wait! Harps big second birthday photo shoot is on Thursday and I have a lot of work to do till then so bye! Gotta go sew a tent cover! ;)

It's The Little Things// Flower Pickin'

Hi lovies. Our summer has been off to a great start and I just love this time of year! Sorry, I think I've said this a lot lately but its true. Harper absolutely adores being outside and exploring so this is her prime time season ;) Last week I think we were outside for pretty much the whole day so of course I had to grab my camera to capture some cute moments. H found a wall of weeds on the neighbors house and she thought they were flowers so I showed her how to pick them and about 20 minutes later the whole wall of weeds was a "pwetty" boutique of grassy weeds/flowers. Hehe, I just thought it was the cutest thing ever so of course I have to flood this post with the pics!
