Welcome to the world Tenley Grace!!

Tenley Grace
6 pounds 2 ounces 18.5 inches
A TON OF HAIR ;)
Perfect Baby Girl!

I have never seen so much hair on a baby! She is gorgeous!!

This little girl sure did make a grand appearance.
Her Mommy was on bed rest since 25 weeks.
She then made it to almost 39 weeks then had to be induced due to low amniotic fluid.
Then had to be rushed into an emergency c-section because of placenta previa.
Both Mommy and Tenley and Daddy are healthy and perfect. I am so proud of my Sister for going through everything she went through and still being so positive and amazing. She is THE best Momma and I am so over joyed for her new family. I am so happy that we get to share this "Mommy Time" in our life together!!

Soooo... Harper, My Mom, and Myself made a emergency trip to Texas after my Sis told us she was being induced. She literally called us at 10 a.m. and we were packed and on the road by noon. Both my Mom and I had to rearrange our schedules for the week so we could be with my Sister in this special time! But we made it work and we hopped in the car with Harper and made the ten hour drive pretty easily. Harper was pretty good in the car. She didn't sleep much and we would have to take turns sitting in the back with her so she wouldn't scream the whole time.
We had such an amazing time meeting Tenley and being with my Sister and family and friends. We spent most of our time in the hospital and it was exhausting but so worth it. Harper was such a good girl the whole week (but then again shes always a good girl). She is crawling and standing up everywhere which made it difficult to be cooped up in a hospital room for most of the days but she was amazing, thank you god! The weather was ahhh mazing! 70's and 80's everyday for a week! I even had to go buy some sandals at Target.
Harper loves her new cousin. She looks at her and smiles! Heart Melter!! I cant wait for them to be best friends and to watch them grow up together.
I feel like I am leaving out so many things from our trip but it was a whirlwind! One day everything was fine and dandy, the next day we are in Texas holding our sweet Tenley! We miss them so much but we already have our next trip planned in April! Yay!

I was also suppose to graduate last Saturday but because of this trip my date got pushed back to this Friday. I cant believe this is my last week of school and I will be done!!!! I am so proud of myself and I cant wait for life to return to somewhat normal. Being with Harper all day again, doing laundry on a regular basis, blogging  more, and Nick got a new job so hopefully some more shopping ;)

Harper has become a crazy mobile baby in the last week.
She went from trying to stand up to pulling up on everything and literally crawling so fast I don't think shes even on the ground! I really think she will be walking very soon. She also has a new thing where if people are talking she decides she needs to talk too... extremely loud!!! And then if we stop and ask her what story shes telling she just stops and smiles! She is crazy! She is nine months old as of yesterday. I cant believe shes almost one. I swear I just had her!!!
I hope you all have a great week. I cant wait for Easter next Sunday!!!
Now for a picture flood...

Road trippin and cuttin teeth. (She cut her second tooth on the drive home)
Waiting for Tenley!
She wont sit still and shes into everything!

Hi Momma + Mini Swimwear.

I know this post is a little premature but Nebraska just went from the temp being in the 50's to the next day, SNOWSTORM. What.The.Hell? I am so over the cold, snow, wind, dry skin, coats, everything cold.
I am ready for spring + summer. I cant wait for summer this year because last year Harper was just an itty bitty peanut and we didn't get out much so I was cooped up at home dreaming of bikinis and tan skin. I have been Casper's twin sister since like 2011. She is getting the boot this year. Harper and I will hopefully be at the pool or at least outside everyday and I can not wait. Bring on the sunshine, hot days, sunglasses, tan lines, smell of sunscreen and oil, sandals, and top knots all day every day.
Last year I didn't purchase any swimwear or any clothes at all for that matter because I was preggo and then newly post partum so there was just no use for new swimsuits. This year I plan on buying a nice swimsuit for myself because I am very proud of my post partum body and I deserve the splurge. And it might motivate me to maybe start eating a little healthier and get in better shape. I need some tone back on my body instead of this rail thin 12 year old look... but I am just be grateful that I lost all my baby weight and then some!
Who else is ready for summer?

And of course who doesn't love a baby in a swimsuit? I am obsessed. The only time in your life that it is absolutely adorable to be a chunky monkey, roley poley and wear a bikini and spandex and look delicious!!!

If you are a baby girl swimwear addict like me, you have to check out Kate Mack. Literally THE cutest baby swimsuits I have ever seen!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am blown away over how scrumptious these are! GO GO GO for cuteness overload!

hi most adorable swimsuit model you ever did see.

Also, I know not everyone thinks baby girls are cute in baby bikini's and they think it is "inappropriate" but if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all! Thank You! :)

Neon Spring, Hello March!

I can't believe its already March!! It is officially my niece Tenley's birth month! Yay!!! She could make her arrival any day now but I hope she holds out a couple more weeks so I can be done with school since we will have to travel ten hours to get to her... {Sorry sissy..} I can not wait to be an aunt and to see her pretty face and for Harper to have a cousin. There is so much excitement this month. Tenley's birth, me graduating cosmetology school, and Easter! (I know I forgot St. Patty's Day but its not really a holiday I've looked forward to since about high school. Sorry, not sorry. Next.)
I am so looking forward to spring flowers, sunny warm days, spring clothes, YES. I am obsessing over neon's right now. Especially with neutrals. I cant stand the annoying 80's head to toe look or the "spring break "11 tees" look but a little neon and neutral is perfection right now. Especially for the little girlys. Disclaimer: I just realized these are almost all striped and from Gap and J. Crew. Obsessed much? Swoon. :)

Harper has grown up so much in the last week!
She cut her first tooth on March 1st.
She just full on crawled for the first time today.
She had her first constipation doctors visit which ended with an enema, prunes, apple juice, laxatives, suppositories, and finally explosions! I never thought I would be so worried about poop... Mom Probs I guess.
Target Run. Harper in her Neon Romper.

My little Bunny.

Since I am in school all week and get home just in time for you to be fussy.. oh joy, not. The week pretty much sucks without being with you all week and I cant wait till Sunday and Monday to get to hang out with you! We went on our Sunday swim at Lifetime Fitness. That is always so fun to watch you watch other kids and you love the water and being dipped up and down in it. Daddy and I also got to go on a little mini date on Sunday to our favorite restaurant Kona Grill to have sushi and margaritas! It was so yummy! I love our target runs, nap time when I get to hold you and you lay on my chest, you crawling all over me when we play, and you eating puffs tugs at my heart strings for some reason. So CaUTE! I love how when your crying it sounds like you are saying MaaaaaMaaaaaa, you love me the mostest I know ;) I really wish you were sleeping a little better though. You wake up every hour or so to eat and I know you cannot be that hungry all night long... I try to let you cry for a couple minutes in hopes you will soothe yourself back to sleep but that has failed me and you are literally screaming with a red face and huge crocodile tears running down your chubby cheeks... break my heart why dontcha! So I give in and give you a boob. Your just so damn cute even at 3 a.m. I somehow still see your newborn crying face in those moments when you were first born and I quickly get over the fact that you are eight months old and still don't sleep and you are still attached to me at night like a newborn but you will only be this little once and I want to cherish these moments forever so when you are sixteen and telling me you hate me when I wont let you stay out till 2 a.m. I will think to myself, damn, you were so much easier at eight months old at 2 a.m. :) You would never say that to me right?!
Be still my heart. I love you beyond words times infinity my little Princess.

Momma, don't make me go to the doctors...

her faces are killing me this week!

What? I'm wearing a headband at the pool again Mom?

My sweet little fishy.

Best Friends Forever.

Her favorite activity. Pulled out every single wipe...
